The 14th Amendment of the United States Constitution guarantees EQUAL protection under the law. I believe ALL CITIZENS of Lawrence County deserve the same level of SERVICE from THEIR Sheriff's Office. As it currently stands, if you own the right amount of land, have one of the prominate last names, or fall in the right tax bracket you are delivered a MUCH MORE attentive level of service from the current Sheriff's Office's Administration.
THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!
If elected, I WILL ensure the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office will NO LONGER be a member of the good ole boys club.
We WILL provide constitutional, fair, highly-trained, and proactive law enforcement TO EVERY CITIZEN and VISITOR without favoritism, bias, or special treatment, YOU will have a Sheriff’s Office

* Property crime, fraud, and the DEVASTATING effects of illicit substances such as methamphetamine are OUT OF CONTROL in our county. Saying that these issues are on the rise everywhere is not an excuse to do nothing. We CAN and MUST address them HEAD ON.
*My VISION is to BUILD a highly effective team of proactive professional personnel through training and career development goals for the Deputies.
* I believe a Sheriff's Office should place a high value in the TRUST GRANTED it by the CITIZENS.
* That TRUST is earned through accountability. I WILL be fully accountable NOT ONLY to the PEOPLE of our county, BUT ALSO to my TEAMATES in the agency.
* One of the BIGGEST DIFFERENCES I plan to deliver to the LCSO is highly effective COMMUNICATION. How can I address the needs of our county and my team if I don't LISTEN? I will provide avenues of communication through your agency that give all our people a voice in our Sheriff's Office.
* Instead of WAISTING our tax paper funded budget on SHERIFF’S CONFERENCES and OBSOLETE VEHICLES that do not serve the mission. I will REPRIORITIZE OUR BUDGET to PROVIDE modern tools, better training, and the resources our hard working deputies NEED to keep Lawrence County citizens SAFE.
*Accountability, communication, professionalism, integrity, work ethic, and fairness will be the pillars of our team if I am elected as your Lawrence County Sheriff.
